Another Time

I'm learning a lot about a film that no long is available... on a subject soon to disappear - too little too late. As for the subject matter, the owner told me today that this house was an old Sears "kit house". He also said he was having the place torn down and said I could shoot as much as I wanted to. Very kool!

I'm also learning to like Kodak HIE with the B+W 091 dark red filter. I took this shot on a not so sunny day with this filter and really like the effect. Much more atmosphere - almost like a fog. So anyway, I ramble...

HIE on a cloudy day...I like it. I think this is the first time I've actually liked an infrared shot. Usually it's that dark sky effect we get trapped into, not that the sky isn't a fine subject, occasionally. The impeccable composition doesn't hurt either. Great combination of comp and process.

Very fine photograph. (Some of the Sears house kits were extremely complex and beautiful.)

Thanks for your comments. I can't believe the price of this film on ebay. I should have stocked up and paid later! I only have a few rolls left. I'll have to try some more Rollei.

As far as I know the F100 has no problems. (I looked on the nikon user website). My F3 had light leaks but my F2 has no problems. It's nice being able to hand hold (no tripod) and see what you're doing and have ttl. I'm anxious to try the rollei ir 4x5. That should be fun! (I think there is such a thing?)
 
This is a home run! from a technical standpoint ,verycomplex,but also outstanding composition without looking over produced. welldone!
