I love snakes. We had a number of them when I was a teen through mid 20s. I have pix of me with a hog snake. Snakes are not amenable to posing. Snails are better.

That a damn long reptile! I like their outfits, quite a contrast with their expressions and scene. Very nicely frame in the XP of course.

Hard to say if this is better... it's so different, but I love the snake's face! Very surreal image... so much can depend on how you edit and organize the work, and how each picture may or may not work with the group. As stand alone images, they each have their strengths, but it's a bit of comparing apples and oranges despite the same subject. Well done!

I think this is far more striking. All five and the snake have inscrutable faces. It is as if the four are waiters and the guy with the snake's head is the Maitre d' of the establishment. He is happy for you to inspect the snake but you better not be wasting his time.

Nothing distracts from their collective expressions. High contrast and B&W work superbly here. It is bordering on the surreal which I like.
