Standing on a bear skin rug! Yup, that's Canada. My Great Aunt had a bear skin rug in her parlor when I was a kid. When I was really little I remember being scared to death of that thing. Hers had the head, eyes and big teeth. I wouldn't even set foot in that parlor until I was six or seven. I love old pictures like these since my folks, who are long gone now, had albums of them. Our family camera was a Kodak 116 when I was a kid until I bought my mom a Kodak Instamatic X-15 in 1969 or 70. Nothing like a big negative and a good lens.
