On the International New Jazz Festival in Moers 1983 were there a great deal of music performed not only on stage, but also everywhere a musician and his instrument could sit down. On a small patch of grass sat a man playing the lute. Now the lute isn't a very loud instrument so the small audience were sittin in a small tight ring around him. The lutenist himself played with closed eyes, and his ear against the body of the lute.
