Ann 26 Freelance Sex Worker, 2007

Been thinking of doing more head shots (only did 1 last trip, not scanned) and multiple head shots combined in one frame (dyptics?) wanted also to get some feedback on 1/2 body shots like this as compared to the 3/4 shots I showed for the most part earlier here. Trying to figure out what works best for the coming compositions I will make in the months to come.

Thanks for any feedback.
Equipment Used
8x10 Kodak Masterview
Film & Developer
Tri-x (200) D76
Paper & Developer
Neg Scan
I would like to see more shots full body in their environment. This gives more of a personal shot versing the police mug shots. I think the head shot Idea sound real good too.

the mark at the top left are not the notches (those are not seen in the scan). I have shot other film with the white backgrounds but the only film I shot in 2007 was the tri-x so am 100% sure it was. Tri-x exposed at 200 asa developed in a jobo tank for over 20 minutes (24 minutes I think) with D76 at setting 4 agitation and 20c.

This coming trip will shoot some HP5 also.

The largest I can do in my current set up is 20x24 and it looks GREAT, the detail from the 8x10 neg is quite beautiful. I would like to make larger prints but that is going into scary cost territory.

Michael thanks. I will continue the mugshot look (will try some more enviromental portraits in the future) but am thinking of trying to do full body shots on white, not sure how the lighting will look. I cannot test out anything at present because my lighting is currently being stored in Thailand, I am going to shoot some more stuff in the future but am a bit worried about things as the lighting equipment has been out of my hands for about 2 years, hope everything still works!!!

The headshots might also be challenging, thinking of doing combinations of heads in dyp and tryp pics... want to try to tell the story without the nudity.

I believe that is TMAX 400. I just looked at my box and it shows two v notches followed by a square notch. This is what shows in your film too.

Never shot any Tmax-400 8x10 in my life, barely shot any in 120 or 35 either. Trust me it is Tri-x, come to Canada I will show you the neg! : )
