That's quite a mustache he's sporting. I've seen a lot of trans-folk sporting tattoos - have you ever talked to them about it, why they get them, if there's any particular reason beyond "I thought a heart with a dagger through it that said "MOM" would look cool on my bicep"?

It's funny you should say, I actually noticed that too and I always make sure to talk with the people I photograph about their tattoos and the meaning behind them.It's different for everyone, but I've noticed quite a few people having transition related tattoos like this guy here http://www.flickr.com/photos/54673439@N07/8517440296
