Love the framing and all the lines here.

It's a very strong composition. The lower stairs being allowed to go completely black has worked and the detail of the trees outside is very nice. However, it seems a shame that the statue is so gloomy despite the fact that it obviously being illuminated from the window and from the light above. It would be so difficult to dodge the statue that there is probably no other option except to completely change the look of the picture by printing for less time and allowing the detail outside the window to be sacrificed (assuming of course that there is enough detail in the shadows of the statue to make this feasible). Of course, this may not be the mood intended anyway but it would be a very different interpretation of the scene.
