We've come to expect wonderful images from you but this one is above and beyond. The background is so perfect you have to wonder (viewing on my small laptop screen) if it's real.

It just shimmers with light. That's a really beautiful effect.

My secondary monitor, although inexpensive, just happens to have the right stuff for a generally very good display of tones and colors, and I can normally mentally correct for any deficiencies. But in this case my instinct is telling me I would need to see the original to fully experience this print.

Negative scans can be very convenient when time presses. I know, as I am forced to do that often these days. But there is still nothing like hand-made prints under good light...
