"The Schip" is a famous building block in Amsterdam that is one of the prime examples of the Amsterdam School of Architecture. This group of architects from the beginning of the 20th century was known for it's ground breaking social idea's and expressive style of architecture with a lot of curved walls and stylized building decoration. Besides houses, it also contains a child care center and a little museum dedicated to this group.
