I could have sat and watch that lad and his team plow for hours. They worked so slick and the team really seemed will matched so as not to even need their man partner. I have always loved stories of man and his animal partner. Cowboy and horse or sheep herder and dog, etc. I think it’s because I grew up with fantastic English Setters and hunted the Chinese ringneck pheasant. It was just amazing to watch those dogs work a sly rooster to point. I could have hunted without a gun and still enjoyed the hunt, but pheasant tastes pretty darn good. Also, the reward for the hard work the dog does is the downing of the bird so he or she can retrieve. JohnW
