Americana Still: Marion House

Always wonder what the back story is. I photographed an abandoned farm house once that still had the foreclosure papers on the kitchen table. Even though the place had been vacated probably 20 years earlier, it looked like the former owners just got up from the table and left. Very haunting.

I had that very monkey when i was a kid.

Wow, this is the first time someone has let me know that they had the very object that I connected to inside of one of the houses. Thanks so much for the comment.

Ok. Maybe it was one that looked like it. Not the one in the photo. They probably made thousands of those things.
