Great shot. A friend of mine produced a similiar type shot but he exposed for the crosses only so the the ground came out black.

Wow. The composition is fabulous and really reinforces the loneliness. Love the grain in the crosses. i wonder which would be more effective, keeping or losing that little bit of the next row of crosses on each side?

I thoroughly enjoy the absolute symmetry of this picture. And I love that the front cross has the only clearly visible identification is that of an unknown soldier; he is representative of the rest. Very well done.
