I think the reflection adds to the three dimensional feel of this image. Also I like the balance of the composition and the symbolism of life and death in equal amounts. Great as usual Kerik. K

Isn't "ursus" a bear..? Looks like a cat or small fox, maybe. (OK I'm nitpicking but only because I can't express as articulately as Kal how beautiful the image is)

It is a bear! What's deceiving is that the amaryllis is REALLY big!
