Very nice. Which lens did you use? I like the diffused image. Were you using existing light, continuous light source, or ? Thanks for sharing. BTW, I really like the 5x7 format and have 2 5x7 Koronas. They are great! Jon
I'm trying to remember correctly, but I'm 99% sure it was a Turner-Reich 8-14-20 Series III f/6.8 convertible wide open in the 14" configuration. The light came from a softbox to the lower right (you can see the square catch lights in her eyes), but the light was continuous (no flash) and the exposure was somewhere around 2 seconds if I remember correctly.
Well it's about d**n time Jeremy.... just kidding, was hoping you would have something soon and boy do you have something. This is really nice, very good work.
Missed you on Saturday, you would have had a blast...next time.
Very cool, man. I was thinking of what a soft focus portrait would look like in LF, and now I know... This definately has a look of its own, I just wish that her eyes were as sharp as her lips. Maybe I'm just being picky... Very nice portrait either way.
And now in a complete change of subject: I'm not sure if you were in Dr. Pauley's class the last few times, and I'm not sure if you'll be there tomorrow, but you should definately show up Thursday, as he'll give the test info then. Or I could just give you the info later, let me know. Anywho, take care man...
