I would really like to know your thoughts. This picture surprised me, because it made me see this friend of mine in a way I'd never seen her before. I noticed, as she pulled her hair back, that this produced a look which seemed very interesting to me. What would you say?

All I can say is that's a very nice and expressive portrait and must be a beautiful print. The rest is up to you, I haven't seen her with her hair down :smile:
 
Well it was interesting enough for me to click on the thumbnail. It looks like you have used the 50 - 70mm part of the zoom range for this, I think if you had racked it out to 105mm, her back arm may have gone a bit more out of focus placing less emphasis on that arm and more on her face.

As Thomas says, with her hair up you really see her face unhindered by hair, we only know her like this.

I think it has potential if you could darken her left arm elbow and the rear arm more, plus if you darken her chest and lighten her left jaw area a bit, then you may have a completely different print that could give you a lot more food for thought!
