Beautiful colours. Looks like a magical place. I am sure you enjoyed your time there. Did you have to hike in? I'm just wondering about the lack of sharpness.
Hi Eric, thanks for the comment. Sharpness.. Achilles heel I'm afraid. I scan my images in via a flatbed scanner (Canon 8400) I'm wondering if I'm losing there ? I'm going to drag back out the tranny and review it closer to see. Yes- It was taken at the end of a days walking and only about 10 minutes from the carpark - but that's not the excuse here.
As for the location - a beauty. Somewhat overplayed on the 'touristic' side - but spirtual to it's core. About 45 minutes drive from the city (Dublin).
Actually if you can get your hands on an Epson 2450 they are great for MF and LF (up to 4x5) neg and tranny scans. They are pretty cheap these days. I have one that I use all the time and it's just fine for web stuff.
