Great find. Beautiful portrait. I love the softness, diffusion and washed out highlights.

Thanks for the feedback...the highlights appear more washed out in this scan than in the original. However, I did intend that effect.

I have stared at this photo many times, and not just here in the gallery. It is much better in hand.

Aggie--I think nearly all photos are better appreciated "in hand". I find it frustrating at times to see an image on the Internet that I know is so much better in hand.

Hiopefully the reproduction of it in the magazine will do it justice. a poor second but better than the internet.
