Alaska Railroad Engine 1802

After several years hiatus, I'm back to shooting large format this summer with a Ebony 45SU. There is an area along Ship Creek in Anchorage with a lot of old equipment, including railroad cars etc. One of my favorite places to spend an afternoon.

This must be either a repair yard, scrap yard, or the infamous dead line.

I love railroad subjects. This same subject would have looked really nice with, say, a red sunset sky to give a little more variety of color.

Sorry for not responding sooner folks.....I've been offline for awhile.

This is adjacent to the main Alaska RR rail yard in Anchorage, a spot where old locomotives and flat bed cars go to die. Some pretty cool railroad equipment there.....one of my favorite photo hangouts.

I like the Ebony 45SU alot......just need to get out and use it more often!

Best wishes,

Gary
