Gene, I love this but it has a different look, more grainy, than more recent posts. It also has a pattern I haven't seen. It works very well with this subject and makes me rethink what kind of print I could use for the Bromoil process. Very nice, thanks
Gay - Grain in a bromoil print is a by-product of the ink on the tips of the brush. The more brush work used the less grain as more ink closes up the grain structure. I prefer grain in a bromoil print, although it is not always apparrent on a computer monitor. In this particular image I kept the brush work to a minimum in order to produce more grain and to produce the feel of an etching. Gene
