During the summer of 1980, I rode the train pictured in the shot into the Agawa Canyon, located in Ontario, and climbed the mountain just to get this image.

Film & Developer
Kodak Kodacolor 100.

Scanned with an Epson Perfection V500.

I rode that train as well, but I don't recall that they waited long enough for anyone to do what you did. But then, I was with my wife and two small kids, and may have missed that!

I don't recall how long it was there, either, but I do remember that there was a waterfall to the left of frame and another guy had a Minolta camera like me and he let me borrow his telephoto lens to get a shot of the waterfall. It was after then that I made the climb. I also got to photograph a chipmunk at the top of the mountain. The things we remember!
