A nicely composes simple shot that brings the elements together to celebrate a cute dog. And although it's a simple slice of life type of picture it's also often not that easy to do. Cool picture.

Looks good. I am not at all sure that if some of the shadow detail had not been lost the picture would look right. It looks very natural as it is, given the light conditions

Great looking dog, and there looks to be plenty of shadow detail to me.
