Afton Theater; Portsmouth, VA

Oh, I like! Usually we always take the theater pictures straight on or from a more rakish angle, but for some reason this particular sideways view works for me.

I love the colour of this print.

I will not offer a critique but I
am stunned to see a photograph
of the Afton Theatre. I grew up
in Portsmouth and spent my
early childhood a few blocks
away from the theatre, in the
Cradock neighborhood. A sad
fate for the theatre, and the
neighborhood surrounding it.
