After Modigliani

I'm continuing to experiment with carbon printing. This is Nut Brown tissue from Bostick and Sullivan, adhered to YUPO. I'm still trying to perfect adhering to watercolor paper. I had a really nice gum print of this that I sold. I've never been happy with other attempts I've made at printing it. This is getting there.

You sem to have an endless supply of models! If you don't mind me asking, are they friends or professional models? Where do you find them?? Love your work, this latest one is very nice as well

Thanks all, for your positive comments. I was slightly apprehensive about up loading this one.

Paul, I met Eva in a painting class I took a while back. We struck up a conversation and at some point I learned she modeled. I hired her, paying her by the hour. We gradually became friends and she continued to model after my funds ran out. Lucky me. The other women are all friends. There is website called Model Mayhem. I don't know if they are all over the country, but a lot of my friends in NY here use them, and they have come up with terrific models. Many of them will work for a CD and prints so they can build a portfolio.

Thanks for the info, i'm familiar with Model Mayhem. Keep up the great work!! Why were you apprehensive about posting this one?

I'm new to APUG and I'm not sure what's considered appropriate. I have some fairly provocative pictures that, I suppose might offend some. Perhaps I shouldn't worry.

My feeling is as long as it isn't something that is straight Porn then I think it is okay. I have seen some photographic publications that have some very out in left field nudes but, if you have a following of photographers and art collectors who are interested then I say show.

The tones and lighting on this print is so magnificent. It is almost like I could just reach out and feel the light on her skin. And the pose. unbelievable, I one of the best I have seen.

I agree with Michael, you have created some amazing photographs, I couldn't imagine anybody having a problem with them no matter how provocative!
