Adriana y Nivaldo

When I went to Cuba I thought that I would concentrate on the decay and deterioration there. But I soon began appreciating the maintained buildings as well. I normally do not include people in my pictures, but the owner was responsible for the condition of his house and his inclusion seemed to help tell the story. His granddaughter was just icing on the cake.

Comments appreciated.

Great image - for me there seems to be a resemblance between the solid wooden door = the grandfather, and the playful light window = the daugther.

Wonderful photograph. The building is beautiful. The people fit with it. The beautiful young girl and the strong gentleman.
