Looks great. You've caught the northern light very well and the isolation and vast expanse on that coast.

Colour couldn't capture the scene anything like as well.

You've captured the magical light quite wonderfully. As Gene referred to, there is nostalgia here that's palpable. Nicely done.
(Be sure someone takes care of that hatchling on the left....it's forebears haven't been well tended to at all!)

Well caught Rob, particularly the light on the water. I was there myself just a few weeks ago but gave in to the colourful nature of the scene and didn't shoot in mono there at all. I'll know better next time!

Wonderful light captured. I remember the beaches of Scandinavia used to look like this in the late afternoon. Captures the feeling perfectly.

40mm lens? yes. The shot's cropped slightly which gives the imprssion it was shot on something slightly longer.
