So how do you like Silvermax with Extol? Or Silvermax in general? It looks good here. I've been interested in playing with it but don't know what i'll get out of it that Tmax doesn't give.

I like it so far, but this was only my second roll so I am still looking. It's a more conventional film with a more conventional characteristic curve and probably conventional reciprocity failure, like FP4 or Plus X but with slightly finer grain. It might contain a little more silver. The grain is fine enough that it would probably not be hurt by Rodinal 1+50 or HC110 (E or H). Flat grain films like TMax and Delta seem to have a very long straight line - suitable for some images, but not mine. This particular image may look a little overexposed because I made no post processing adjustments. I will probably darken the wet print.

I like this as it is, but I wonder if it would be even more interesting in color? Really good, though!!!
