I have no idea what I'm looking at. I think I see partially two fingers and a thumb (left side), but the rest?? Anyway: a cropped self portrait with pinhole, flash and push processing deserves praise!! Well done. Bert from Holland

What you see on the upper left side is the beige tissue I used as a backdrop. On the right hand side is my leg, the knee's bent and on the lower left side is my arm that is around it. The process of making self portraits with 4X5 film and a flash wasn't too complicated. The pinhole board I had mounted on the Sinar helped because there was no need for focusing, the flash (a Metz 45) provided with enough light to expose the (pushed) film. I had the camera set up for a wide angle coverage and placed quite near, then I cropped the images to get the "abstract" effect. So simple.
