It is a Van Dyke print on hand-coated paper. It isn't possible to reproduce the lovely texture of the paper in a scan, unfortunately. It really adds to the overall effect.
It's great you got Fabriano paper suitable enough for VD prints.
The Fabriano paper I bought, Fabriano Aquarelle, isn't suitable for any wet process, it's seems the sizing interfer with coating (at last with cyanotype), resulting in a weak, motled image. Your is very nice, even scanned

If I recall correctly, hexavalent washed out the sizing first, but I cannot remember exactly what he did. I am still learning the process. I will check with him and get back to you.
