This is a displaced piece of art that I found in the Guild Inn Gardens (private estate turned public) in Toronto.
Don't know the author or whos portrait it is.

Definitely not Lenin. Next time when I go to this park I will look for the plaque or signature.
 
to set the record straight I found out that this is a sculpture of Robert Holmes (1861-1930) painter and member of the Canadian Academy of Arts by artist John Byers. Apparently there is a plaque on the granite but my focus was on the face, texture and light.
