Difficult lighting situation trying to get detail inside and out. Used N-2 development. All the white deposits on the concrete were lit the same but I burned down the upper ones so the lower ones on the sides might stand out more. Any printing suggestions appreciated!
Mark, Nice image. Good subject, and composition. Seems like you have captured the full tonal scale well with your N-2 development. It looked to be a tricky scene to manage. As for the printing, you handled the burn in of the upper white highlights very well. Having told me you did so, I can now see that. Otherwise it is not that noticeable (a sign of good burning skills!)
If there was one thing I might try printing wise, it would be split grade printing this on MG paper just to see if you can further seperate the mid tones and add a bit more punch to the blacks. There is a full tonal scale in this print, but I feel it could still get a bit more presence and sense of light with split grade printing. That's just my opinion, as I usually print a little on the heavy side anyway.
