@pentaxpete the emptiness is what I was going for. I really liked the soft light coming through the window and how it caught the thick layer of dust, so I shot it around F16 to try to preserve that.

This is an awfully tough shot to pull off and you've done it well. If you're into photoshop, I would suggest lowering highlights and raising shadows just a touch. Just enough to soften that bright window and bring out the something of interest that seems to be back in that corner.

I like this. It looks like it was quite a messy scene but you've made the photograph all about what isn't there. It's got a sense of intrigue to me...
