I have been making a lot of cyanotypes the last few weeks after seeing an exhibit of early 20th century Cyanotypes of Ipswich, MA. So I have decided to share some with you.
Of those you have posted so far, this is the one that really catches my eye. The placement of the platform really works here. It has a strong sense of place, and of loss. Very nice.
The paper is plain ol' Strathmore Bristol Smooth I bought at an AC Moore store. I bought it just to try things out but it is working out pretty well. I am also "developing" in a weak acidic solution that is Vinegar mixed 1:1 with water.
I also like this one the best of these 3. The tones and detail are great.
I really wish I'd had time to wander around Springfield with a camera the times I was out there.
