Beautiful setting and great darkroom effort from what seems a fairly tough negative. I hope you don't mind a suggestion/option (and with all due respect)...have you tried to change the aspect ratio to a square and eliminate the two trees and wires to the right?
Thanks for the kind comments so far. When I did the print and switched the lights on I was a bit shocked by the rough grain. But the longer I looked at it, the more I liked that grainy look.

No I have not. But will do and give it a try. It is easy to try such things with the scan. I thought that the two trees kind of supplement with the chapel and that small other tree and also give the image a natural 'frame' to the right. If I cut off that part I will also cut off part of the cloud which might be problematic. But to cut it to a square format from the left might be a good idea, I will definitely try that.Thanks Ruediger
