A little light on a winter solstice

I'm very fortunate to live near some granola type earth mother families. They are so cool they braved a chilly Winnipeg evening to get a roaring campfire going. And of course what photographer can resist the light?

The riveted expression of the child second from left is equally riveting to see. And usually I'm not a big fan of bokeh, but I like the out-of-focus bulbs here ringing the central image.
