A little lens hacking

I subscribe to the philosophy that, in order to strive toward bettering your understanding of the art you are working in, experimentation is a very important part of the learning process. This was my first real experimentation with anything large format.

I had an old Agfa folder that was just laying around doing nothing. I don't like folding cameras without at least a simple uncoupled rangefinder, I've found, so it wasn't a good walk around camera for me, and it isn't a rare beast by any means. I noticed, however, that the Apotar lens that was on it was good when I was testing it back when I first got it. Even wide open, as here.

I'll probably do more testing with this in the field in the future. I had planned some landscape shots that I'd wanted to do, but I couldn't really afford to buy a 90mm. This'll have to do. We'll see how bad it vignettes when shot at infinity.

Light leak in the corner is my fault entirely. Didn't have one of the light trap caps on the Combi tank and...well...yeah. I'll remember next time.
