A grateful nation - other crop

This was my original crop for this shot, hoping to concentrate the image. It may be asking too much of a 35mm negative to get in this close. The other crop eases it a bit and also uses the other people to direct the eye to the center.

Wait. I just realized that, while they are different crops they were also taken a couple of seconds apart. I couldn't decide which one is better.
 
You cut all their heads off... Might wish to revisit the crop.
 
Thomas - that was intentional to reinforce the importance of the participants and bring anonymity to the onlookers. I remain doubtful of the wisdom of doing so, as it feels pretty heavy handed.
