The Colorfield Performance: hundreds of works, one field of colour


Hundreds of works, one field of colour. You won’t believe your eyes. The Colorfield Performance brings a gigantic colour spectacle to Sloten in 2018. International artists come to the Frisian town at the invitation of Dirk Hakze in order to create a unique work of art. From the Frisian town’s historic city wall, you get a brilliant view of the sea of colour on the meadow.


Community is... creating a huge work of art together. That was the thought of artist Dirk Hakze. He invited 1,919 international artists to work on the project.
