my mom who i just visited in virginia showing me how to use one of old german folding camera's.this one is a wilti (welta)35mm . i loaded a roll of fuji 200 in it and have been taking pics with it.. she told me she rarely used this one and instead used a jubelette 35mm as her go to camera.
i took quite a few photos while i was in virginia.mainly of the farm and property but a few of her.she had tons of slides that got lost in the move from new york to virginia 4 years ago.i have some in my possession but not many.those 2 camera's shot nothing but kodachrome for years.i almost put a 20 year old roll of kodachrome in it while i was down there.but i figured if she shot some pics i wanted to make sure they come out.i'll have to finish it up then get them processed.cant wait to see.
If she's still on this planet I hope you'll figure out how to get, somehow, from VA to NY and photograph her with film somebody can actually process...unlike, Kodachrome.
i have some pics of her on ilford xp2 that i can send out to a local store.i was shooting hp5 but my local camera shop that processes it wants to charge 40.00 bucks a roll.so i'll wait and send it out at my leisure .
looking into getting a developing tank and doing it as i used to.then i would need a scanner to upload to my computer.i shot 10 rolls of film down there and cant wait to get them developed.
