i was shooting a wedding on sat. i got to shoot a few 8x10s also. i had 2 prints ready for brunch on sunday morning. it was fun listening to the groom harass the digital videographer cause the analogue photographer brought images and he had nothing!
i pushed it 1 stop cause i forgot to add bellows into the equation (too much pressure)
i also cropped the scan to match the window i cut in the matte that i gave to the B&G.
thanks for the comments. i added more development....probably too much but i knew i forgot to add belows extension....the print is a bit better, a bit less contrast. thaks
Say what others will, this is simply superb! We need more of this sort of photography..... I'll bet 50 years from now these two will be the cherished ones they will remember the most..... excelleni work!!!!!
This is terrific. The extra contrast gives it a nice "1941 look". I shot my nephew's wedding and their baby's christening (I'm just a hobbiest, I don't do weddings or commercial stuff) and I used ilford delta 3200 and Foma 100 in 120. I souped it to give pretty hard contrast and printed on ilford pearl. They also had a digital photographer shoot the wedding and christening. Guess which pictures are hanging in their home?
Love the reflection in the fender!
