What a great enlarger!! If "honey" won't let you keep it, I want you to know I am starting a "home" for wayward enlargers, just send it my way!

Lights don't dim but, I found my first inconsistency. I would make a test strip and next time it would be totally off. I figured the 1500 watt heater was kicking on and off. If it was on, there was about 2/3 stop difference in light output. That was kickin my butt till I figured that out. I expose in the garage and go upstairs to my trays where it's warm. I showed "honey" the thread about how many enlargers do you have, made me look good. If the cold light ran on batteries I'd have to find me a D-8 cat somewhere. Nothing like having a new enlarger and trying to teach yourself split printing while doing a print that has to be turned in the next day for a competition.
