I had hiked several miles to this plant only to find it wasn't the one i was looking for. I took this shot anyway and packed up my gear just before the DWP showed up. Luckily they gave me a ride out and saved about 2 miles of hiking in the heat.

Damn, this is nice. Where on the Owens River is this? Up near the Long Valley Dam? Just curious, I know the area pretty well, but I haven't explored the Owens River Gorge much.
