6x8 (approx) Cyanotypes - new process

Made using Ortho film to make a negative of approx. 6x8 in size and contacted on to coated art paper. Original Kodak I/R neg size 35mm.

That's very effective Neil, looks like there is more than one way to present your IR with impact.
 
Many thanks Vincent. I made the image about 15 years ago when I was using a lot of Kodak I/R - I wish I still had some! Recently whilst using some ortho film to make large copy negs for alt work it occurred to me to give an infrared neg a try and I was delighted with the result. I originally tried it as a Van Dyke but was not that taken so I tried a cyanotype and I think it works better. I can see my old I/R negs getting a look over for some more that will be suitable to use for making a copy neg :smile: Cheers, Neil.

Thanks for your kind comments. I was surprised how well I/R negs work with cyanotypes if I hadn't been experimenting with large copy negs I would probably never have tried the combination. Neil.
