Nice light and dark. Highlights and shadows work for me - there is information. I find that it is very difficult to represent the tones of a print properly in a scan. I bet this is impressive in person!
This is the sort of light that hits my bedroom on a winter afternoon - dramatic, but peaceful. I suspect that this bedroom is a bit more ornate, and older, than mine!

Thanks Brendan, wife and I stayed a couple of nights in an old 1880's historical mansion, morning light was nice. Im sure you could work with whats in your room. If the lights good you can make a picture of anything.
I tend to do a rough draught on what ever paper I have that is the most economical to do so. at the moment its 5x7 cooltone. If I print for myself I would be more in tune with all the detail. For social media it tends to be best to keep the detail minimal and apparent.
