I got back to what I have been calling my Dr Seuss swamp. The light was a bit better. These are three new shots from the weekend.

I particulary like this one. The slightly higher contrast works very well for you. The cypress seem to have great 'presence' - almost three-dimensional on my monitor. Great shot!

Wow, what a wild looking place. "Dr. Suess Swamp" sounds like a very appropriate name.

Late comment here John (It's now January 1st): thanks for posting these. Not only are they stunning to look at, they are giving me great examples to look at an assist in my decision making on a new lens. Heck, why not get both the 47 and 58. You seem to get a lot out of both.
