510 - Pyro Agfa APX 400 FRESH ! Dated February 2023

I thought I would try some FRESH film at 1;200 dilution of the Home-Made 510-Pyo as I made up enough for 3 films in Paterson Major 11 tanks -- time was 'Guessed' !

Pete, the highlights on both the sheets and tiger are very bright and yet not overexposed or overdeveloped as I can see texture in both. At this level of brightness I had expected to see a virtual featureless white. If this can be replicated in a print then this might be a real feature and benefit of Pyro 510

My concern these days based on what I have seen written on the effects of scanning is whether this can be translated into darkroom paper prints
 
@pentaxuser If that texture is in there on the scan I believe it should also be very printable with maybe a little work. Any stain also helps hide grain somewhat. Couple of pluses for pyro developers. JohnW
 
@John Wiegerink Thanks so which aspects of a scan should I be sceptical about in terms what I see in terms of what is possible in a darkroom? I seem to hear plenty in posts to make me doubt the value of any scan in terms of how scans can represent a darkroom print. This phenomenon of scanning artefacts causing flawed representation of the darkroom equivalent print seems to surface all the time
