Great job, John. I think the exposure was just perfect for the composition. And an exellent composition BTW.
 
Frankly, the beauty of the clouds could make the image stand on it's own. I don't think you need the trees and black line on the bottom. The clouds are awesome. One small improvement would be to balance out the tonality in the lower left section of the clouds with the tones on the right. That part seems to fade away too much.

I love this type of image, but for some reason this one does not work for me. I have absolutely no idea why and I am left feeling that I should love it like the others clearly do. How bizarre, as I really like the minimallistic snow scenes posted recently by another user.

Conclusion. We all have different tastes, and the part of my brain that would have enjoyed this image is clearly on holiday.....so Ignore me!!!!!!! The majority verdict is clear!

I agree with Jorge. Make more of the sky and you should have a good print if the trees are sharp.
