4x10 slide test

My last magnolia slide for now, I swear!

Actually, I am relieved that these things are out of bloom now, their noxious scent was killing me.

Anyway, this is a test of 4x10 slide. The local lab actually can't do 4x10, so I stapled the slide to an 8x10 piece with a cutout window and they processed that. Processing went went ok, except my plastic (transparency stock) got crinkly in the E6 process, so I plan simply to use cleared film next time. The staples took the heat and chems like a champ, just a little corrosion onto the film itself but not much. I'd say I lost about 5mm at the top and bottom of the 4x10 sheet.

Still experimenting with how to use the long aspect ratio effectively.... an enjoyable challenge, actually.
