+1 - was this from the massive rains this summer? So unusual to see a broom not in its rightful place.

thanks for all of your comments. i really appreciate reading them. @mooseontheloose...i don't remember if this was after a particularly heavy rainfall this summer or not, but we certainly did have an unusually high amount of water falling from the sky in august. this was shot from the bridge just a stone's throw down the street and was the first time i'd ever seen a broom all by its lonesome down in the "river".
 
i have come back to this about 5 times, and see something new every time i look at it.
beautiful image and stories to be created by looking at it.
