This is one i forgot about. My bag bellows must have been in the way and the dark bottom portion of frame is the result. It is spot i can go back too. Should i bother for a reshoot?
As to the image, I thought you got the highlight in the water from flash use, not an error on your part. i like the image a lot, but don't let that stop you from going back. nice one.
Bill, my guess is this is not Cross Village! Very nice shot, I like the contrast of the silky water to the jagged rock. I think a reshoot might be worthwhile, seeing the traces of water in the foreground would lead the eye right into the photo. Dennis
I think it's a fine image, but yes...it does have some technical problems.
I've never suggested going back to reshoot an image to a person, and I never do it myself. I say this because when a photographer goes back to reshoot an exact image they have already created, they are learning and seeing nothing new! However, I'm sure there are other fantastic photographs to be made just a few feet away from this location! Go back and shoot more photographs from this spot and I bet you will get a better image then this one. Just make sure you got your bellows and all tech. matters delt with before making the photograph.
I wouldn't think you would need a bag bellows for a 90mm? but if you have a chance yes go back. I don't think you will get the same thing. But if that place was near me I would be spending every week end there anyway.
