Guillaume your comment about beyrouth (Beirut) resonates, I think you've hit on a big part of what I'm drawn to with this. The collodion process has a way of sort of visually decomposing these modern cityscapes and almost giving them a post apocalyptic feeling. I've heard many people talk about wanting to pour "cleaner" plates which i can admire that desire, but I've realized I'm not all that interested in striving towards that.
The messy and ugly parts are endearing.

I would commission this to hang on the wall ... if I were a rich man...yadda yadda dee. So I'm going to put this in my favorites folder. Not only so I can see anytime I want but as a reminder of something I desire. The process the composition it all comes together. Very impressionistic.
